About Dan Holtzclaw DDS
Dan Holtzclaw, DDS studied biology and nutrition at Texas A&M University. He then went on to pursue his DDS degree at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. At dental school, Dan Holtzclaw, DDS, consistently excelled, maintaining a place on the dean’s list and ultimately graduating with honors. Following his graduation, he earned commission as an officer in the US Navy.
Dr. Holtzclaw served in the Navy for 12 years and, over that time, was stationed in Virginia, Maryland. Hawaii, and Florida. Completing his general practice residency at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, he then served several years as a Navy dentist in Hawaii.
In 2004, Dan Holtzclaw, DDS, earned a specialty degree in periodontology at the Navy Postgraduate Dental School as well as an MS in oral biology from George Washington University. He was then stationed in Florida for several years until he left the Navy as a lieutenant commander in 2010.
Dr. Dan Holtzclaw serves as a dental surgeon at the Austin Dental Implant Center in Texas. There, he focuses on full mouth reconstructive dental surgeries.Education
